Now on to DePeyster.... The famous photographer Henry Beach from Remsen photographed the North Country from Utica to Massena.  There is a good book called Adirondack Vernacular about him.  Heading back from a day in Heuvelton, he came upon DePeyster, wrote it phonetically as the natives say it "DePuyster" and did at least 15 photos.  Half of the ones of Depeyster shown here were repros made by the great Myra Jones and the others are original.  Myra had the most outstanding Post Card Collection in Northern NY.

I have all of these but the Round House and have never seen it for sale.
